Patxi Usobiaga from Spain has climbed Hades 9a at the Austrian crag Götterwand second go, just like Adam Ondra on Der Heilige Graal 9a in Germany's Frankenjura.

The final stage of the IFSC Speed Climbing World Cup took place in Daone on 02/08/2009 and was won by Libor Hroza and Edyta Ropek. The World Cup 2009 was won by Ropek from Poland and Sergey Sinitsyn from Russia.
