On 12/04/2025 Simon Gietl completed the solo first ascent of 'Lumina' (M7 A0, 300m) on the NE Face of Wildgall / Collaspro 3273m, (Rieserferner Group, Tauern Alps). The 40-year-old mountain guide from South Tyrol, Italy, reports about his mixed climb up this "wonderfully beautiful pillar."

At the Rive Gauche of the Argentière Glacier (Mont Blanc), Massimo Faletti and Enrico Lovato have established 'Volevo essere un duro'. Lovato's report details this challenging and stunning mixed climb located in the Highlands sector, repeated the same day by Davide Cattani and Claudio Marchetti.

Interview with François Cazzanelli who on 7 March 2025 teamed up with Giuseppe Vidoni to make the first ascent of 'Bianco Invisibile' (800m, 6c, M7, AI5) on the east face of Aiguille Blanche de Peuterey (4112m) in the Mont Blanc massif. The route ends at the col at 3900m.

On 24/02/2025 Swiss mountaineer Filippo Sala established a new climb, solo, up the north face of Pizzo San Giacomo (2923) in Switzerland. This is believed to be the first winter climb on the imposing rock pyramid.

On 19/01/2025 Simon Messner and Philipp Prünster made the first ascent of the icefall '4Matic' (WI5, 300m) on the Laaser Ferner Wand in the Lasa Valley, a side valley of the Vinschgau valley in South Tyrol, Italy. Messner reports.

On 01/01/2025 the Italian mountaineers François Cazzanelli and Giuseppe Vidoni made the first ascent of 'L’Esprit des Murailles' on the southeast face of Dent d’Hérens, Grandes Murailles (Matterhorn group, Pennine Alps) in Italy's Aosta Valley.

On 28 and 29 December 2024 Sebastian Pelletti and Hernan Rodriguez made the first ascent of 'Alborada' (5.11+, 600m) on the west face of Cerro Mascara in the Torres del Paine massif in Patagonia.

On 25/12/2024 Niccolò Bruni and Federica Furia made the first ascent of the mixed climb 'Cadeau de Noël' on Aiguille de Toule (3534m) in the Mont Blanc massif.

In November, South Tyrolean mountain guide Simon Kehrer made the first ascent of two new multipitch climbs in the Fanes group of the Dolomites, Italy: 'Lastun de Mareo' on Muntejela de Senes / Monte Sella di Sennes with Marta Willeit and 'Via dla Surité' on Piz Parom with Hubert Eisendle.

On 6 December 2024 Sebastian Pelletti and Hernan Rodriguez made the first ascent of 'Ultima Ronda' (AI3 M4, 700m) on the previously unclimbed south face of Cerro Trono Blanco in the Torres del Paine massif in Patagonia.
