On Sunday, July 7 at 11:30am the Red Bull X-Alps 2013 gets underway, the extremely difficult paragliding and running competition all the way from Salzburg in Austria to the principality of monaco.

One week to go to the start of one of the most demanding challenges in the world: 31 athletes from 21 different countries will compete for over 1000, crossing the Alps from Salzburg to the principality of monaco. The only means of transport: their own feet and a paraglider.

Born in 1985, Peter Gebhard will take part in his first ever Red Bull X-Alps on July 7 2013. Together with the other two Italians, Aaron Durogati and expert Andy Frötscher, the man from Val Gardena will fly and run across the Alps from Salzburg in Austria to the Principality...

On 7 July the Red Bull X-Alps 2013 gets underway, the immensely difficult race on foot or by paraglider from Salzburg in Austria to the principality of monaco. 32 athletes from 21 countries will take part, including three Italians: Aaron Durogati, Peter Gebhard and Andy Frötscher.
