Rock Master Special Edition 2023: big names and big battles at Arco

The first names of athletes taking part in the Rock Master Special Edition 2023 at Arco on 1 September 2023 have been unveiled. The athletes who so far have been confirmed for the 36th edition are Camilla Moroni, Vita Lukan, Hannah Meul, Laura Rogora, Jessica Pilz and Brooke Raboutou, and Yannick Flohé, Stefano Ghisolfi, Jesse Grupper, Taisei Homma, Adam Ondra, Michael Piccolruaz, Jakob Schubert

Ever since 1987 the Rock Master competition at Arco, Italy, has been synonymous with the best of the best. This year’s edition of the legendary climbing comp will take place on Friday 1st September and it will do so with what has been dubbed a Special Edition; since the Climbing Stadium is closed due to maintenance, a 16m wall will be erected in the adjacent square, on which the Lead Duel will take place. When the sun dips behind Lake Garda, 16 climbers (8 women and 8 men) will duel each other for the prestigious Rock Master Trophy.
