Mezzalama 2017 live streaming

This morning at 5.30 a.m the XXI Mezzalama Trophy got underway. 297 teams of three set off from Breuil-Cervinia for this extraordinary traverse across the Monte Rosa massif. 37,126 km and 3056m vertical height gain lead past Breithorn, Castore and the summit of Naso del Lyskamm before finishing at Gressoney-La-Trinité. While Damiano Lenzi, Matteo Eydallin and Michele Boscacci are tipped to win, other hot favourites include the teams Nadir Maguet - Robert Antonioli - Manfred Reichegger, Pietro Lanfranchi - Jakob Hermann - William Boffelli and Kilian Jornet - Werner Marti - Martin Anthamatten. The women’s race is expected to be dominated by Laetitia Roux, Jennifer Fiechter and Emelie Forsberg, but the French - Italian team comprised of Katia Tomatis - Alba De Silvestro - Axelle Mollaret stands a good chance of winning the event.

Yesterday's Mezzalama Jeunes was won by Sébastien Guichardaz and Fabien Guichardaz and by Célia Perillat Pessey and Marie Pollet-Villard.
