D. ViolatoManolo's 8c first ascent at Fonzaso
On 8/05 Maurizio Manolo Zanolla made the first ascent of "El Sior Favonio" 8c.

 Manolo, despite his tender age, continues to produce top-end routes at one of his local crags, Fonzaso. This time round the 48 year Italian climbed a sixty move combination of two existing routes, 'Pallino' and 'Il Gladiatore' to produce 'El sior Favonio' 8c. The route is an intense, compact just-off vertical slab, which Maurizio Zanolla, aka Manolo, sent sixth go. Fonsazo continues to be in the spotlight therefore after the recent ascents and repeats of Diabloluna, Il Gladiatore and Drumtime.
