Katherine Choong has repeated E-Space Challenge, an 8c+ bolted by Nicolas Glée at Le Précipice de Corbière in the Vercors, France. According to the 30-year-old Swiss climber, this is a "battle of endurance, on a very overhanging wall that starts with a first pitch in 8a+ and climbs crescendo to the crux just below the anchor, a dyno followed by some very physical and challenging moves."

After having fallen 3 times on these last moves, on Tuesday 18 October she succeeded in the repoint. In total she required just 6 days of attempts for her redpoint which she completed, for the record, without kneepads.

Choong has previously climbed two 9a's, Jungfrau Marathon at Gimmelwald in 2019 and Cabane au Canada at Rawyl in 2018, as well as a flurry of hard multi-pitches such as Ali Baba (2022) at Aiglun, Hattori Hanzo (2022) on the north face of Titlis, La Ramirole (2022) and Une Jolie Fleur dans une Peau de Vache (2021) in the Gorges du Verdon and 6.4 Sekunden (2021) at Engelberg in Switzerland.
