Jakob Schubert sending Perfecto Mundo 9b+ ayìt Margalef

A film documenting Jakob Schubert and his recent ascent of the 9b+ Perfecto Mundo at Margalef in Spain is currently in post-production, in the meantime here’s the uncut version that shows how the Austrian sent his first 9b+ and claimed the third ascent of this immensely steep test after Alexander Megos and Stefano Ghislofi. The first 20 moves are missing and from this frontal perspective it’s hard to gauge exactly how steep this huge overhang really is, but nevetheless the integral video is a fantastic master class in cutting-edge redpointing.
