Earlier this year, before the start of the competition season, Jakob Schubert went on a 3-day trip to Switzerland’s Ticino, homing in on Val Bavona and Brione with Nicolai Užnik, Michael Piccolruaz and Jan-Luca Posch. The results came in thick and fast: Primitivo 8C, The Kingdom 8B+, Casavino 8B+, Kubalik 8B, Vecchio Leone 8B (reclimbed) General Disarray 8A+/8B, White Stripe 8A+. Užnik returned home with pretty much the same ticklist. Here’s the recap.
