Elias Iagnemma has repeated one of the hardest boulder problems at Chironico, Switzerland, namely Jimmy Webb's 2019 testpiece Ephyra. Iagnemma reports he needed 9 sessions to get to the top of this 8C+ which gave him "beautiful sensations"

After the send, the 29-year-old Italian thought, "Wow, I did it—incredible! But how extreme was The Big Slamm?" To be fair, The Big Slamm, established by Iagnemma a month ago at Tintorale in central Italy, is given half a grade harder — which is considerable at this level — but it will nevertheless be extremely interesting to see if and when the bloc receives attention from the world's best.

Iagnemma has been quietly amassing hard sends and Ephyra is now his 4th 8C+ after Ganesh and Utopia at Tintorale in 2022, and Gioia 2021 at Varazze in 2021. His two 9A ascents are the aforementioned The Big Slamm and Burden of Dreams in 2024.
