Legendary crack climber Didier Berthod, returns in this 'cracktastic' comedy to complete the soaking wet first ascent of 'Gold Rush', the longest roof crack boulder in Squamish, Canada.

On 8 February 2024 legendary Swiss crack climber Didier Berthod made the soaking wet first ascent of Gold Rush, a 10m crack located in Squamish, Canada. The boulder was originally discovered by Squamish local Tristan Salson, who shared it with Berthod as a Christmas present. He's the ascent, in this great little film directed by Vince Lapointe.
