Finland’s Anthony Gullsten has completed the first ascent of a extremely high - and extremely difficult - highball boulder problem at Piilolampi, a bouldering area is located not far from Gullsten’s home in Helsinki. The line is situated right next to the parking lot and was a "notorious project" ever since the area was discovered 20 years ago. The 28-year-old checked the moves on toprope prior to committing up what has now been called Silver Lining and checks in at 8C.
For the record, Finland’s coronavirus restrictions are far less severe than in other parts of Europe and Gullsten’s ascent a fortnight ago was in compliance of these regulations.
