Daniel Ladurner reports about the first ascent, carried out with Mathieu Maynadier and Francesco Favilli on 5 January 2024, of the mixed route 'Birthday Crack' in Vallunga / Langental, Dolomites, Italy. A way to remember Favilli, who died tragically in the mountains this summer along with Filippo Zanin.

The report by Daniel Ladurner who on 23/01/2024 with Johannes Lemayr completed the first ascent of 'Ein Tag zum Träumen', A dream day, an ephemeral ice fall and mixed climb right at the back of the Langental / Vallunga valley in the Dolomites, Italy.

On 10/02/2023 Sarah Haase and Daniel Ladurner made the first ascent of the mixed climb Fossil (M7+ WI4) in the Bletterbach canyon, South Tyrol, Italy.

Daniel Ladurner introduces 'The Bird', a rarely repeated mixed climb in Langental / Vallunga, first ascended by Massimo Faletti and Giovanni Groaz in 2003. Initially called Gola del Pettirosso, this 'pearl of the Dolomites' was renamed by the first ascensionists in honour of Jim Bridwell.

In Langental (Puez - Geisler group, Dolomites) Daniel Ladurner and Hannes Lemayr have climbed a possible new icefall they have called Airport. The line runs to the left of the classic Jumbo Jet drip and has been graded WI5+ M4 160m. Ladurner reports.
