In the first week of 2018 Vivian Bruchez, Jonathan Felisaz and Thomas Guerin scored what they believe is a first ski descent in the Perrons de Vallorcine area of the Aiguilles Rouges massif close to the French/Swiss border.

The trio ascended a 45°, SE facing slope above the Refuge de Loriaz mountain hut to an altitude of 2600 m and then skied the same route, stating that they had been surprised by the quality of the line and snow conditions.
