The final stage of the Bouldering World Cup 2011 took place in Munich, Germanuy last weekend and was won by Mina Markovic and Dmitry Sharafutdinov. Kilian Fischhuber and Anna Stöhr won the overall World Cup 2011.

Sasha DiGiulian, Sean McColl, Alex Puccio and Gareth Parry have been elected into the Athletes Commission of the International Federation of Sport Climbing.

Adam Ondra (CZE) and Yana Chereshneva (RUS) won the Duel competition and in doing so also the special Rock Master 2011. The Combined ranking was won by Ondra, DiGiulian while the National ranking went to Russia.

Spaniard Ramón Julian Puigblanque is the new Lead World Champion. Jakob Schubert from Austria wins silver, Adam Ondra wins bronze. Qixin Zhong from China and Maria Krasavina from Russia are the new Speed World Champions.

In the Arco Climbing Stadium Angela Eiter won the Lead World championship for the third time.

During the VI Arco Rock Legends the Salewa Rock Award was given to Adam Ondra. The La Sportiva Competition Award went to Ramon Julien Puigblanque.

Flying colours and two tops for: Ramón Julian Puigblanque, Sachi Amma, Magnus Midtboe, Cédric Lachat, Jakob Schubert Mario Lechner. Adam Ondra qualified, too as well as Martino Ischia, the only Italian to qualify. First excluded the Italians Stefano Ghisolfi, Silvio Reffo and Marcello Bombardi.

In the first round of the Women's Qualification the following qualified with flying colours and two tops: Ernst, Kim, Röck and Eiter. The Italian Jenny Lavarda has also qualified for the Semifinal.

Shauna Coxsey & Francesca Metcalf are the first Bouldering Semifinalists at the IFSC Climbing World Championship in Arco.

All the hot favourites qualify for the Semi-final. The provisional ranking is led by Hori (JPN) and Lachat (SUI). Others to qualify include the Italians Preti, Moroni and Scarperi, as well as Ondra (Cze) and Fischhuber (Aut).
