Fifth day of the World Climbing Championship in Arco. Second day of the first ever ParaClimbing World Championship. From our privileged viewpoint here in Arco where we are updating the events official website, we are experiencing some intense and beautiful days. It was the only event missing from our CV... being part of the team of this World Championship (after having collaborated with the Rock Master organisation for 6 years) is a great test and also a beautiful adventure.
The air we breath here in Arco is full of great energy. And the performances are gob-smacking. The Bouldering finals last Sunday were rousing (ask any of the 5000 spectators if you don't believe us). And the memory of the Opening Ceremony on Saturday evening is still vivid.
The ParaClimbing World Championship is now heading into its second day, dedicated to Lead. The Speed surprised us and, in you're in the vicinity, come and check out today's competition.... you won't be disappointed.
Before the Lead and Speed champions enter the Climbing Stadium area this afternoon we'll continue to update the official site with our live reports as the day unfolds, with our videos and the beautiful photos by Giulio Malfer and Anna Piunova.
