New faces at the IFSC Athletes Commission

Sasha DiGiulian, Sean McColl, Alex Puccio and Gareth Parry have been elected into the Athletes Commission of the International Federation of Sport Climbing.

On 27 July the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) announced the results of the athletes elections held in Arco during the recent World Championship. Four new athletes were elected to the Athletes Commission: Alex Puccio (USA) and Gareth Parry (GB) for boulder and Sasha DiGiulian (USA) and Sean McColl (CAN) for Lead.

These new members join those already elected at Xining in 2009 and reconfirmed in Arco, ie. Jenny Lavarda (ITA) for Lead, Maud Ansade (FRA) and Akita Matsushima (JAP) for Boulder, and Edyta Ropek (POL) and Tomasz Olesky (POL) for Speed. The president was reconfirmed to, namely the multiple champion from Belgium Muriel Sarkany.
