Reducing the traffic in the Dolomites, an initiative promoted by the Governor the the Trentino region, the SAT, the CAI (Italian Mountaineering Club), the Bolzano Mountaineering Club and also Reinhold Messner.

On 19 March Andrea Oberbacher and Francesco Tremolada carried out the first ski descent of the long and much-eyed Conturines south gully. On 15 March Tremolada had also carried the probable first repeat of the south gully on piz ciavazes, first skied by Tone Valeruz.

At the end of September Angelika Rainer carried out the first female ascent of Italia 61 (220m, 8a),the historic aid route on piz ciavazes, Sella, Dolomites.

On 17/7 Florian and Martin Riegler carried out a rare repeat of the Via Camillotto Pellesier on the N Face of Cima Grande di Lavaredo (Dolomites).

Manfred Stuffer spent last summer amassing a series of hard ascents, solos and enchainements, including "Costantini-Apollonio" (6c+), "Costantini-Ghedina" and 1° Spigolo Tofana di Rozes in 5 hours 30 minutes.
