The first stage of the Bouldering World Cup 2016 started in Meiringen Switzerland, yesterday. The Semifinals and Finals take place today at 11:00 and 18:30 respectively and can be followed in in live streaming.

On Sunday 28 February 2016 the 7th biennial ski mountaineering competition Tris Rotondo took place in Switzerland’s Canton Ticino, Switzerland. The men’s Super Tris competition was won by Filippo Barazzuol & Maguet Nadir while Jennifer Fiechter & Lorna Bonnel won the women's event.

On Saturday 20 February the Ski Mountaineering World Cup Transcavallo Sprint Race was won by Robert Antonioli and Laetitia Roux.

Kilian Jornet and Laetitia Roux earned precious points on Friday 19 Febraury 2016 at the fourth 2016 ISMF Ski Mountaineering World Cup event, the 33rd Transcavallo, by winning the Individual race that took place at Alpago, more specifically at Col Indes, a few kilometres above Tambre.

The third stage of the Ice Climbing World Cup 2016 took place in Saas Fee, Switzerland from 22 - 23 January 2016. Russians Maxim Tomilov and Maria Tolokonina won the Lead discipline, while Speed was won by teammates Nikolei Kuzovlev and Ekaterina Koshcheeva.
