Spanish alpinist Marc Bordas-Garcia and Germany's Robert Jasper have made the first ascent of 'Llamada del Cóndor' (200m, 7b/+) on the NW Face of cerro colorado in northern Patagonia.

Will Sim and John Crook report about their climbing trip to the Torres Del Avellano in Patagonia, Chile, together with Paul Swail, John McCune and Ruth Bevan. The highlight of the expedition was a 1000 m new route up the East Face of the South Avellano Tower.

Climbing in Patagonia: on 26/01/2017 Tomas Franchini and his brother Silvestro Franchini made a quick, alpine style first ascent up Cerro Penitentes. The new route is called ‘El Mariano’ (750m, 85° M4).
