On Cerro Trinidad Central in Valle Cochamó in Chile the Italian climbers Angelo Contessi, Diego Diaz and Leo Gheza have established the big wall 'Nunca say Nunca' (5.12+/A1/1000m). Gheza reports.

French mountaineers Yannick Boissenot, Julien Herry and Zian Perrot-Couttet have made a new ski and snowboard descent in the Mont Blanc massif, 'L'aileron du Requin' on Dent du Requin.

Spanish climber Jorge Díaz-Rullo has made the third ascent 'Sleeping Lion', the 9b at Siurana in Spain established by Chris Sharma in March 2023 and repeated in January 2024 by Alexander Megos.

From 15-16 January 2024 the mountaineers Christian Casanova, Francesco Favilli and Mathieu Maynadier made the first ascent of the new mixed climb 'Mixte feeling' on the north-east face of Civetta in the Dolomites. Established with one bivouac, the 560m route breaches difficulties up to M6+/WI5.

At the crag Mišja Peč in Slovenia the 25-year-old Italian climber Stefano Carnati has redpointed two 9a's, 'Xaxid hostel' and 'Sanjski par extension', while at Kompanj in Croatia he has repeated the 8c+ 'All in, I'm out'.
