Youth World Climbing Championship 2001 - the results

The results from the Youth World Climbing Championship 2001 in Imst
The Youth World Climbing Championship took place in Imst, Austria last weekend.

From an Italian point of view the event proved to be a great success, as Jenny Lavarda placed first in her category, Youth A (1983 - 1984).

This title awards her constancy and undisputed ability, for last year she claimed the Italian Cup and placed eighth overall in her first ever World Cup season.

Marcin Wszolek from Poland won the Youth A male category. His compatriot Kinga Ociepka won the Youth B female, while G. Glairon Mondet from france won the Youth B male. Tomas Mrazek (CZE) won the Juniors male, while Olha Shalahina (UKR) was victorious in the Juniors female.

Congratulations to all!
