Rock Junior kicks off the Rock Master Festival
The Rock Master Festival 2012 gets underway today at Arco's Climbing Stadium with the first day of Rock Junior. The athletes taking part in the Under 14 Cup are currently competing in the Speed and Boulder events.

10:00am Arco Climbing Stadium. 180 young boys and girls at the starting blocks. They come from 17 different countries. And are here in Arco for the most important climbing competition for young climbers.
These are the future of competition climbing, and it's right and symbolic therefore that they herald the start of this first Rock Master Festival which, during the next nine days, will feature athletes taking part in the International Paraclimbing CuP, the Speed World Cup sprintersand the champions of the Rock Master Bouldering and Lead events which bring this Arco festival to a close.
Meanwhile, the stage is set for these great young athletes aged 7 to 13 who are currently competing in the Bouldering and Speed events. Seeing how much effort they're putting in to the warm-up and the initial phases of the competition, rest assured that today will be a great sports day for everyone.
