Red Bull X-Alps 2015: the start!
Yesterday in Salzburg, Austria, the Red Bull X-Alps 2015 got underway. 32 athletes from 18 different nations will head towards the Principality of Monaco. Over 1000 km by paraglider on foot, across some of the most spectacular scenery in Europe.
Red Bull X-Alps 2015: the start!
Yesterday at 11:30 am sharp Salzburg’s Mozartplatz hosted the start of the Red Bull X-Alps, the spectacular paragliding and running competition that will end, after more than 1000 km, on a small raft just off the shores of the Principality of Monaco. The start has been described as "The best first day of flying the Red Bull X-Alps has ever seen" and the first to reach the top of the Gaisberg, where the 32 athletes took flight, was the German Sebastian Huber.
