The Italian Sports Climbing Federation has offered support and accommodation in Arco, Italy, for all athletes of the Ukrainian Sport Climbing Federation.
Two days ago the president of the Italian Sport Climbing Federation (FASI) Davide Battistella and the entire Italian Sport Climbing Federation telephoned Anna Yasinkskaya, president of the Ukrainian Mountaineering and Climbing Federation (UMF), and expressed support and condolences with regards to the conflict and wholly condemned Russia's invasion of the Ukraine.
Help and asylum was also offered to all the athletes of the UMF who, upon request, can be hosted at Arco di Trento, Italy, at the facilities adjacent to the National training center, in the hope that this provides a small degree of serenity and enables training to continue until the end of hostilities in Kiev and throughout the Ukraine.
