With various 9b+ to his name Stefano Ghisolfi is one of the world's leading sport climbers, and it comes as no surprise that, when he puts his mind to it, he's actually pretty good at bouldering, too. Last November Ghisolfi sent his hardest problem to date, the V14/8B+ Goldfish Trombone at Bishop in the USA, and earlier this year he set his sights on something significantly harder: Burden of Dreams, aka the hardest boulder problem in the world.

In March the 30-year-old Italian worked on a replica of the problem - used so successfully by William Bosi prior to his first repeat - in the UK and at home with local strongman Elias Iagnemma, and in early April the two travelled there and worked the bloc with Bosi and Shawn Raboutou. Here's the recap of those 5 Finland sessions on Nalle Hukkataival's 2016 masterpiece.
