Pietro Radassao at Colle dell'Orso close to Frosolone in Central Italy has made the first ascent of Homo Vitruvianus, a route bolted by his father at the Block O sector of Morgia Quadra. The line shares the first five bolts of historic Mantanavai, then breaks off left "where the climbing radically changes intensity."

Radassao had tried the route sporadically in the past, then started serious attempts this summer prior to clipping the anchor on 21 June 2022. He has cautiously suggested 8c+ but as he himself writes "as we all know, grades in climbing are subjective and never perfect, so I could be wrong, both upwards and downwards, in any case I'd be very happy to see the route repeated by someone soon!" Also because Radassao reckons it's a small work of art.
