New 8b boulder problem in Britain
Steve McClure puts up a new 8b boulder problem at Stanage, England
Steve McClure, no stranger to hard routes and bouldering, has put up one of Britain's hardest boulder problems, grading it F8b.
The new problem, at Stanage Plantation, Peak District, is an 8a traverse linked to an 8a boulder. These two established gritstone problems are 'Bens Extension' and 'Danny's Problem'.
Steve, who made the first ascent of Mutation 9a at Ravens Tor, is also reported to be close to doing another similar problem on the same boulder at Stanage.
