About a fortnight ago 32-year-old American climber Jimmy Webb repeated Off the Wagon sit, the most difficult boulder problem in Switzerland freed in November 2018 by his compatriot Shawn Raboutou.
The Val Bavona testpiece is graded 8C+ and is, as the name suggests, the sit start off the famous cart used for the equally famous Off The Wagon problem that Webb had repeated in 2013, a year after Nalle Hukkataival’s first ascent. Mellow Climbing provides footage of the actual ascent which is shocking for the apparent ease with which Webb makes the send.
