Gnerro, an 8c+ twice in an hour
The feared climb 'L'avaro' 8c+ at Tetto di Sarre has been repeated twice in an hour.
Alberto Gnerro, the talented athlete from Cossato (VC) has repeated the much-feared 8c+ 'L'avaro' at the crag Tetto di Sarre. Gnerro had made the first ascent of this route in May 1998 and the German Bindhammer brothers (current #1 and #2 in the Climbing World Cup) have confirmed that this is a difficult 8c+! To date L'avaro has been repeated only by Cristian Brenna.
