Eva Hammelmüller has made a "perfect start into 2023" with a fast repeat of La ligne claire, an 8c+ in the sector Praniania at Saint Léger du Ventoux in France. The 22-year-old Austrian climber needed just 9 attempts for the redpoint, after having checked the line a couple of times in the past. In 2021 the Vice-Austrian lead and combined champion sent her first 9a, Underground at Massone in Italy, while in the past she has on-sighted routes up to 8b.
