Diamante Grezzo in Valle dell'Orco, ft. Marzio Nardi and James Pearson

Watch James Pearson climb 'Diamante Grezzo' in Valle dell'Orco, Italy, bolted by Marzio Nardi and the late Adriano Trombetta over 20 years ago.

Diamante Grezzo - Rough Diamond - is a stunning line located in Italy's Valle dell'Orco. Blasted into existence by quarrying in the early 2000s, it was originally bolted over two decades ago by Marzio Nardi and the late Adriano Trombetta. Despite its proximity to the road, it remained unclimbed until Britain's James Pearson made the first ascent last autumn.
