At the start of January 2016 Chris Sharma freed Catalán Witness the fitness, a boulder problem located in a small cave half-way up the crag Cova de Ocell, less than an hour away from Barcelona in Spain. The problem has an 8B/+ start, leading many to think that 17 moves through the horizontal roof is 8C; this grade was confirmed by Madrid-based climber Alberto Rocasolano "Beto" who, despite a broken hold, checked it with the first repeat at the start of February.
