For everyone Jailhouse Rock is the title of yet another legendary Elvis Presley song. Well, for almost everyone, because for California's climbers Jailhouse Rock also represents one of the most beautiful cliffs in the area. An open secret lasting more than 20 years due to delicate access issues connected with the path which crossed private property.

Well, thanks to the fundamental support of local climbers such as "warden" Tom Addison and the American Access Fund - the organisation which manages access to cliffs located on both private and public land - an agreement has been reached recently with the landowners which now guarantees future access to this great crag. This is finally some great news, worth celebrating in style, as Elvis recommends: Lets rock, everybody, lets rock."
