American climber Brooke Raboutou has repeated 'Direct North' (8B+) at the Buttermilks, Bishop, USA in just a single session.

Just one session is all it took for Brooke Raboutou to send Direct North, the classic 8B+ at the Buttermilks, Bishop, USA. Located on the Grandma Peabody Boulder, the line links Direction into Magnetic North, was established by Shawn Diamond in 2009, and is described as "One of the best hard lines in Bishop."

Raboutou is on a roll. Not even a fortnight ago the 23-year-old, who last summer won silver at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, sent the nearby 8B Spectre.
