For many years Châteauvert was considered a “secret spot”, a crag where the French elite trained like there was no tomorrow on the stamina climbs that stood in stark contrast to the routes at Buoux, Verdon and Volx.
One of the most famous climbs in this tranquil limestone crag is called Are You Ready?, a beautiful 8b+ freed by none other than Patrick Edlinger in 1988. Watch Italian brothers Andrea and Marco Zanone tackle this test, after Stone Love freed by Jerry Moffat in the Frankenjura and Terminator put up by Manolo at Totoga, in the third episode of Lines Of Legends directed by Yuri Palma.
