Making the most of the fact that line had been "swept clean" and that it hadn't iced over yet, a few days ago Tim Emmett and Klemen Premrl successfully made the first repeat of Overhead Hazard at Helmcken Falls in Canada.

Freed by Will Gadd in mid February after more than 20 days of arduous effort together with John Freeman, Sarah Hueniken and Katie Bono, this new 200m breaches the entire overhang and boasts, as a warm-up, an intense M10 that then leads to the M13+ crux pitch. After having freed Clash of Titans therefore, the two spent three days working the line, inspecting the seven pitches before repeating it on their fourth day.

Emmett told Planetmountain: "It was a visionary move by Will Gadd to climb the line he did, we feel very fortunate to be able to turn up, put the draws in and then climb it. Fantastic!"
