Octogénèse in Corsica: a route first ascended in 1991 by Arnaud Petit, then freed by the French climber six years later. Apart from being a beautiful 8a+, a real gem up the smooth Teghie Lisce granite, this line represents something far deeper to Petit’s climbing partner and life companion Stéphanie Bodet: it is here that, in 2012, she rediscovered the joy of climbing, that important love for this sport that has guided her throughout her life.
