Octogénèse in Corsica: a route first ascended in 1991 by Arnaud Petit, then freed by the French climber six years later. Apart from being a beautiful 8a+, a real gem up the smooth Teghie Lisce granite, this line represents something far deeper to Petit’s climbing partner and life companion Stéphanie Bodet: it is here that, in 2012, she rediscovered the joy of climbing, that important love for this sport that has guided her throughout her life. Looking at this immaculate granite, these slabs, this wild Corsica captured in the short film "J'ai demandé la lune au roche" by Bertrand Delapierre, it's easy to comprehend why.
