Red Bull TV has launchedNatural Heights, its new in-house climbing series. This documentary-style show takes viewers behind the scenes with athletes who are redefining what is possible. With unprecedented closeness, the series opens the door to their mindset, deeply connecting viewers to the struggles, breakthrough moments, and raw determination that shape climbing’s greatest achievements. Split into four 25-minute episodes, the first season features Janja Garnbret, Alberto Ginés López, Nika Potapova, and Jakob Schubert.

Episode 1 – Janja Garnbret vs. Her 10th World Title
Slovenian climbing icon Janja Garnbret is chasing her tenth world championship gold – an unprecedented milestone that brings more pressure than ever. Searching for inspiration beyond competition, the 26-year-old athlete turns to rock climbing to rediscover her edge. But will stepping away from the circuit reignite her motivation or push the two-time Olympic champion to a breaking point?

I’m the most impatient person that the world has ever seen because I want everything now. I feel like rock climbing made me more patient to wait that the things will unfold in the way as they will. You cannot force anything. Control what you can control, and I can control my attitude. I can control that I always give hundred percent.” Janja Garnbret

Episode 2 – Jakob Schubert Sends One of the World’s Hardest Routes (9c)
In Norway’s Flatanger cave, Jakob Schubert attempts the first ascent of B.I.G. (9c), one of the most formidable lines ever conceived. The Austrian six-time world champion leans on experience, creativity, and sheer resilience as he works to unlock a route that could redefine the limits of sport climbing.

One of the biggest mental challenges when projecting something really hard or at your absolute limit is at the very beginning actually believing that it’s possible.” Jakob Schubert

Episode 3 – Nika Potapova: Nothing to Lose, Everything to Prove
At 22, Ukrainian climber Nika Potapova is fighting to break into the professional ranks – no sponsors guaranteed, no outcomes assured. Her journey is one of sacrifice, grit, and belief as she pushes to turn raw talent and relentless drive into a career at the top of the sport.

In general, I can say, I plan all the process in climbing and around climbing most of the time on my own. I put the biggest effort in it, and I know that hard work pays off.” Nika Potapova.

Episode 4 – Alberto Ginés López Takes On a 180m wall
Olympic champion Alberto Ginés López teams up with Jenya Kazbekova to race 180 meters up Switzerland’s legendary Verzasca Dam in a high-intensity multi-pitch format where every second counts. For the 23-year-old Spaniard, it is a high-stakes test of speed, precision, and competitive fire, demanding flawless execution from start to finish.

Everything I have not won yet, I want to win it. And the things I have already won, I want to win them again. That’s my objective as a competitor.” Alberto Ginés López
