They dubbed it the California sit start, their 4-day trip last february up Fitz Roy in Patagonia. Sit Start, because before climbing the classic and ultra-famous Californiana route (put up in 1968 by the Americans Yvon Chouinard, Dick Dorworth, Lito Tejada Flores, Doug Tompkins and England's Chris Jones) the two Italian Ragni di Lecco members Luca Schiera and Matteo della Bordella and Switzerland's Silvan Schüpbach first summited Aguja de la Silla. Their roundtrip included 2000m vertical gain graded 6a+ C1 and M4/5 and Matteo della Bordella provided info about the trip here, while the trailer is out now.
