The Italian Academic Alpine Club announces that from 21 to 23 August 2017, the bivouac Bivacco Marco dal Bianco will be closed temporarily for renovation.

Located at 2727 meters above se level, on the path that joins the mountain huts Rifugio Contrin and Rifugio Falier, the bivouac has 9 beds.

The renovation works are deemed complex but the structure, inaugurated on 15 September 1968, and named after the talented mountaineer and CAAI member Marco Dal Bianco, will remain unchanged.
