In May 2014 America’s big wall expert Mike Libecki teamed up with Sweden’s Jonas Haag to make the first ascent of “New Dog, Old Tricks “(VI 5.11 C3+, 3,000') on the Lurking Tower, Baffin Island. Libecki had travelled to Baffin on 5 previous occasions and the short film below documents his love affair with the island, with big walling in general and how he and Haag forged the new route over 13 days.
