Paris is hosting the World Climbing Championships 2012 from 12 - 16 September.

A look at all the previous sport climbing World Champions as a first preview to the IFSC Climbing World Championship 2011 will be held the small Italian town Arco 15 - 24 July 2011.

On Saturday 25 April the second stage of the Speed Climbing World Cup was won by the Russians Sergey Abdrakhmanov and Anna Stenkovaya. Qixin Zhong from China set a new world record of 7"22. 

02/11/08. Rustam Gelmanov and Katharina Saurwein won the seventh and last stage of the Bouldering World Cup 2008 in Moscow at the start of November. Kilian Fischhuber and Anna Stöhr won the overall World Cup, while evgeny vaytsekhovsky and Edyta Ropek won the Speed World Cup 2008.

The first stage of the World Cup Speed was held in Trento yesterday and was won by evgeny vaytsekhovsky (Rus) and Lucelia Blanco (Ven).

Angela Eiter and Ramón Julian Puigblanque won the World Championship Lead 2007 in Aviles. The Bouldering competition was won by Dmitry Sharafutdinov and Anna Stöhr, while the Speed event was won by Qixin Zhong and Tatiana Ruyga (RUS).
