The 40th edition of the Transcavallo 2023 ski mountaineering competition on the slopes of Alpago, Italy, was won by the teams formed by Elena Nicolini - Martina Valmassoi and Matteo Eydallin - alex oberbacher.

The 25th edition of the night ski mountaineering competition Sellaronda Skimarathon was won on Friday 25 March 2022 by the teams Katia Tomatis - Elena Nicolini and Matteo Eydallin - Michele Boscacci.

After a two-year stop, the Sellaronda Skimarathon will take place in the Italian Dolomites tomorrow. As per usual the most famous night ski mountaineering competition will cross four mountain passes, Campolongo, Pordoi, Sella and Gardena and cover a total distance of 42 kilometers and +2700m altitude gain.

The most difficult Mezzlama ski mountaineering competition of all times was won on Sunday 28 April 2019 by the Italians Robert Antonioli, Michele Boscacci and Matteo Eydallin. France’s Lorna Bonnel and Axelle Mollaret and Italy’s Alba de Silvestro dominated the women’s race.
