On 16/05/2025 Èlise Poncet needed 6 hours, 54 minutes and 47 seconds to ascend and descend Mont Blanc from Chamonix. Here's the video of her speed record.

On Friday 16 May 2025 French trailrunner and ski mountaineer Élise Poncet set a new Fastest Known Time (FKT) on Mont Blanc. The 29-year-old started at 5 am from the church in Chamonix, and required just 6 hours and 54 minutes to race up and down the classic Grand Mulets route, via the Glacier des Bossons and Arête des Bosses. From the 4807m summit of Mont Blanc she descended to her starting point, the church in Chamonix, in just 1:20. Her impressive speed record is documented here
