| For the fifth year running the Austrian non-profit organisation "Snowboarders for Safety" has organised a series of free snow & avalanche awareness camps throughout the 2003/04 winter season. The two-day camps, run by certified mountain and ski guides, are open to all and aim to increase participants' awareness of alpine hazards outside marked pistes. Day 1 is devoted to basic knowledge and getting to know the basic equipment, while Day 2 puts theory into practice.
