The second round of the Bouldering world cup 2006 held in Veliko Tarnovo (Bulgaria) last weekend was won by Kilian Fischhuber from Austria and Olga Bibik from Russia.

Kilian Fischhhuber repeats Dschungelfieber 8c/+ (Dschungelbuch, Austria). At Misja pec, Slovenia, he repeats Sanski par (extension) 8c+/9a together with Jorg Verhoeven, while Katharina Saurwein sends Mrtvaski ples (8b) and Corto (8a).

Ines Papert and Harald Berger win in Norway and in doing so win the overall Ice Climbing world cup 2006.

Ines Papert from Germany and Markus Bendler from Austria have won the third stage of the Ice Climbing world cup 2006, held in Saas Fee, Switzerland, last weekend. Jenny Lavarda and Petra Muller, Simon Wandler and Jack Müller placed second and third.

On 28/01 at Spicak (Czech Republic) the second stage of the UIIA Ice Climbing world cup was won by Simon Wandeler and Ines Papertahead of Markus Bendler (2), Harald Berger (3) and Ksenia Sdobnikova (2), Anna Torretta (3).

On 17/01/2006 Markus Bendler from Austria made the first asscent of "Hells Angels Paradise - Law and Order" located beneath the Maukspitze, St. Johann, Tyrol.

Mauro Bubu Bole and Jenny Lavarda have won 2nd stage of Alpin Cup 2006 at Caldonazzo.
