On 14 February 2024 Mark Herbison, Josh Lavigne and Christina Lustenberger made the first ski descent of the South Couloir of Mount Sir Sandford (3519m), the highest peak in the Selkirk Mountains, British Columbia, Canada. Lustenberger reports.

On Wednesday 14 February Adam Ondra made the first repeat of 'Bon Voyage', the E12 at Annot in France established by James Pearson in February 2023. The Czech climber needed 3 days of effort and has confirmed the grade of E12 (9a).

The Brit Rock video of Neil Dickson onsighting 'The Hollowman' (E8 6c) at Gogarth in North Wales in 2008. Even by today's standards this is considered one of the most impressive onsight ascents of a British trad route.

Joda Dolmans and Kristian Vindvik have made the first ascent of 'Full Pakke' (M5, WI6, R) at Bodø in northern Norway. Dolmans reports about the new mixed outing he describes as 'one of the best new winter routes that I’ve climbed.'

Samuel Holzknecht, Simon Messner and Cesare Olivetti have made the first ascent of the mixed climb 'La Penultima' on Elferkofel / Cima Undici in the Sexten Dolomites, Italy. The 450m climb above Fischleintal ends at the Cengia degli Alpini ledge.

On 25/01/2024 Nicola Castagna and Francesco Salvaterra made the first ascent of the mixed climb 'La Concha de la lora' on the north-east face of Crozzon di Val d'Agola (Brenta Dolomites). Salvaterra reports.

On 02/05/2024 Italian alpinists Richard Tiraboschi and Giuseppe Vidoni made the first ascent of 'Couloir Noire' (400m, AI4, M5) on Mont Noire de Peuterey in the Mont Blanc massif. Vidoni reports.

On 06/02/2024 Italian alpinists François Cazzanelli, Jerome Perruquet, Marco Farina and Stefano Stradelli established a new route on the South Face of the Matterhorn (4,478m).
