Austrian mountaineers Sepp Stanglechner and Hans Zlöbl have made the first ascent of Tauern Supercouloir on Gubachspitze in the Venediger Group.

On Saturday 19 March 2022 Simon Gietl from the South Tyrol, Italy, made a solo winter ascent of Via Hruschka on the north face of Peitlerkofel / Sass de Putia in the Dolomites. The 37-year-old descended by paragliding off the summit.

On 08/03/2022 Laura Tiefenthaler from Austria and Jana Möhrer from Germany repeated the classic Heckmair route on the North Face of the Eiger in Switzerland. Tiefenthaler reports.
