The route for 8th edition of the Red Bull X-Alps 2017 has now been announced. Considered the world’s toughest adventure race, the +1000km traverse across the Alps by paraglider or on foot will begin on 2 July 2017 at Salzburg in Austria.

The 32nd Pierra Menta took place at Arêches-Beaufort (France) from 8 - 11 March 2017. The classic ski mountaineering competition was won by the Italians Matteo Eydallin & Damiano Lenzi. The women's event was won by the French - Swedish team Laetitia Roux & Emelie Forsberg

From 12-13 May the Italian Bouldering Championship 2017 will take place during Melloblocco, the world’s biggest bouldering and climbing meeting scheduled to take place from Thursday 11 to Sunday 14 May 2017 in Val Masino - Val di Mello (Italy).

Over the coming weekend the small village of Corvara in Val Passiria, Dolomites, Italy, will host a stage of the Ice Climbing World Cup 2017. A total of 100 ice climbers from 20 countries and three continents have registered. Live streaming of all Saturday and Sunday stages.
